Gem, our award-winning amber ale, made its way to two of the biggest cycling events in the South West this month; Bike Bath and the Bristol Grand Prix.
As massive cycling fans, we were thrilled to sponsor Bike Bath and the men’s category 3 /4 race which kicked off the day of cycling at the Bristol Grand Prix.
To celebrate our sponsorship and passion for the sport, we gave each rider a free bottle of Gem, which certainly helped to quench their thirst, with over a thousand riders enjoying our delectable amber ale.
Not only did we supply the beer, but our own Bath Ales Team headed up by Roger Ryman (our Brewing Director) alongside colleagues Adam Lumb, Elliot Murphy, Jamie Ramshaw and Gary Ringrose. took on the 50-mile challenge at Bike Bath. With all the practice from cycling to work, we’re sure they did a great job!
