Festivity Vintage has been aged for a year on French oak chips and Cacao nibs, adding layers of complexity to an already rich and robust beer. Chocolate abounds, but brighter notes of stewed fruit shine through, like a wintry dessert in a glass. Chocolate is obvious on the aroma, and the tannins from the wood play nicely with the bittersweet, roasty/chocolately taste.
